Hello!!! I know it has been a long time since my last post. I have to admit, that I missed the whole routine. The siting down to write and create. Though I could tell you it was for lack of time and busy schedule, but the truth is that, it was rather the lack of inspiration. I’ll tell you all the details in another post.
This situation with the Mojo had happened to me before, in fact I wrote a post about it. One of the things I did then was to participate in challenges.
Looking of my favorite challenges, I found the Mood Board Jot Magazine for this month, I found it very pretty and interesting, the combination of the colors seemed like a real challenge, especially the color red. So I decided to participate… Here is my layout:
Every year I like to create a special layout on my children. Not just on their birthdays, but rather about the things they currently like to do. Like last year my daughter loved skateboarding, but this year she loves to go fishing with my husband.
I took this photo in one of those fishing trips, I love everything about this picture from her face to the colors, which worked great with colors in the mood board.
The title is just: Nine.
I loved the result, the mix of textures between the red thread simulating flowers on the cactus, the silver thread in the pots, the wood veneers I paint black, the rope on the labels, and the mixture of papers which they are mostly by Basic Grey.
The amazing cactus dies are from Spellbinders.
Thank you for stopping by.
XOXO
Paola Carlberg.
